Allotments

The Allotment Association occupy Cae Maliphant, a field situated at the rear of Lady Street. Members can rent half or full plots on an annual basis.

Membership applications are approved by the committee. If you would like to become a member, or if you have any other enquiries, please contact the secretary of the Allotment Association.

History

The Kidwelly Allotment Association was created in 2005, when a number of local residents approached the Town Council with a request for the provision of an allotment site within Kidwelly. A lease agreement was signed between the Association and the Town Council for the occupancy of Cae Maliphant. Initially there was a provision for twenty allotments at the site, each plot being roughly 75m2 in area. Since then, membership has increased greatly due to the demand for full plots and half plots.
