Kidwelly Methodists Church

Trinity Methodist Church

Trinity Methodist Church isn’t just in the midst of the countryside but is also a church right at the heart of the community of the town of Kidwelly.

All we do as a congregation is driven by our faith in Jesus Christ; thus you will find us to be an outward looking, welcoming and caring congregation which seeks to engage with those around us. We serve the community in Kidwelly and further afield in many different ways and definitely not just on a Sunday!

Our Sunday services are well attended and open to all ages. You will find that our services have something for everyone in them, from the formal to the modern and are led by the ministers or the Local Preachers.

We also have a small Sunday school run by a team of trained and dedicated volunteers.

Trinity runs a very popular Wednesday Coffee morning where the community has an opportunity to come together and enjoy spending time with one another. There is also every chance of picking up a bargain at the perennially popular’ new to you’ clothes stall.

Children are well catered for at the church. In addition to Sunday School there is a fortnightly music and movement session for young children called Baby Boogie and regular Bible craft mornings and community church services such as an Easter Egg Hunt service and a Pet Service.

If it’s bible study you are after then the church holds one each Friday morning at 10.00am in the church. Trinity also runs a regular programme of training and retreats to enable friends and members to deepen their discipleship.

Every summer we celebrate the gifts of local artisans when we host a two week arts and crafts exhibition. In addition to pictures and crafts to admire or buy, there is always someone to talk or to pray with you and a chance to enjoy a cuppa and a cream scone.

If you are looking to have your child christened or have never been baptised yourself; are thinking about getting married or need the services of a minister because a loved one had died then please get in touch and we will be delighted to help you if we can.
